Hi All
In the Backend DB we have 2 Data base APPSET eg called ABC, XYZ .
APPSET ABC is available for Super user to access from BPC but XYZ appset is not getting displayed in the BPC ADMIN/ BPC Excel under DEFAULT APPLICATION SET.
In the backend of the data base i have given Grant Access to CONNECT. Do we need any other setup to be done at backend SQL Server for this appset to get displayed in BPC ADMIN for the superuser??
Thanks
Gan
When you create the appset via the BPC Admin console all the required rights are automatically granted in the backend databse. You don't nee to do anything in the backend as there is no relationship between the actual BPC user ID that logs in to Excel and the db security settings.
In order to view the newly created appset in Excel or in the BPC Admin client you will need to modify the connection properties via the connection wizard first, then grant permissions to once you are in the Admin client.

Hi Gan,
have you create the appset xyz with the admin console? If so the xyz appset should be visible from admin console and you should be able to view and enter with the admin user.
Check the tblusers and see if your users have Active field = "Y".
Kind regards
Roberto
