Production Order for Multi level BOM

Hi All,

       SAP B1 have been introduced with some newer features in every release.

But one I seeing it's still lacking. i.e For Multi level BOM , we need to create production orders for all levels seperately. Why its not been as a single Prodcution order which includes all its lower level BOMs.

Almost out customers having to work with multi level BOMs. See one of our customer having 250+ level sub BOM for FG item. Thus so they have to create 251+ production orders for a single FG. It's really horrible for them. Even in excel they can prepare the same FG production plan in a second by simply give the FG planned qty, it will get updated for the component and sub component item by excel formulas..

I expect from SAP team, that they will consider this important feature in the upcoming release.

I am agree with you..Some time Multiple Level BOM's restriction increases complexity UN-necessarily .

improvement needed here.
