Allocating Resource to Activities at a particular Time.

Dear Experts,

Is it possible to Allocate the Resource(work center) to the Activities at a particular Time?

Eg: I want to assign resource A to Activity1 for 9am to 11am and also I want to assign same resource to another Network Activity2 for 11Am to 1PM. Generally we can give Work hrs and duration at Activity level. Can we specify any particular time period for the Resource in allocating to Activities?

I had tried in giving time frame in dates tab of an Activity,but its not working...Can you please show any work around or suggestion how to fulfill this requireent.

HI Karthik,

you can capture this business scenario under workforce planning scenario as follow

create workforce profile in cmpc

assign person to concern activity in cmp2

display the assigned person in cmp3

you can take report for the same in cmp9

pre requirement you have to assgined work to internal activity with work center and activity type and schedule once project then go through cmp2
