Hello Kumar,
Let's see if we can narrow this down.

First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of SAP PA. Are you already on 1.0.9?
What connectivity type are you using, HANA Online or Offline?
What algorithm are you using?
What version is your HANA server on?
And finally, what is the type of the field that breaks the job? Just simplify the view please so that it works again. Then add fields back in one by one and test every time if it works again.

Hi andreas,

Below are my answers,

First of all, please make sure you are using the latest version of SAP PA. Are you already on 1.0.9?I am in PA1.0.7 version
What connectivity type are you using, HANA Online or Offline? I tried Both, both are not working
What algorithm are you using? It is failing during acquire only so not sure what do u mean by algorithm.
What version is your HANA server on?  Version 1.0.47

And finally, what is the type of the field that breaks the job? Just simplify the view please so that it works again. Then add fields back in one by one and test every time if it works again. I have lot of fields, Calculated columns as well. But it is working fine on HANA Studion. I was able to check the data from studio. Dont know why PA not able to acquire.

thanks

Kumar

Hi,

the first suggestion here would be to upgrade .

the second is to simplify your views until such a time as you can acquire one.

can other VI users import the data succesfully ?

regards,

H

Hi Kumar,

Thanks for the info. I agree with Henry, it would be good if you could upgrade and simplify the view.

Just note please that SAP PA 1.0.9 is supporting HANA revision 49 and higher. Not sure if you can upgrade your HANA that easily?

In case a HANA upgrade is difficult, you could try a trace first. See page 18 in this document

Just pay attention to when you set the logging directory. Contrary to what the guide says, I could only make this work with a forward slash, ie

log_dir = "C:/logs";
