Hi,

I am new to BO Dashboards.

I have a combo box feeded by a BW query, list of Plants.

How can I add 'ALL' value to this combo box. my requirement is when user selected 'ALL' then my main query should fetch data for all plants.

Note: My BW query dont have All value.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The suggested solution looks ok.

I do have two helpful suggestions:

1. Put the "Total" or "All Plants" row at the top, using the formula =sum for each column. This would look better.

2. I would personally present the data for "All" in a chart and then have a thick box which says "View by Plant". When that is ticked a new chart would come up on top of the old one and present what you have at the moment (without "All").

Alternatively used a Radio Button with two possible options  ("Total" and "By plant") instead of the Tick Box. Make the "totals" chart visible only when "Total" is selected and the plant chart, which you already have, visible only when "By plant" is selected.

Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions.

Regards,

Matt

Hi Joshi,

Thanks for your response and I think definitely it's going to resolve my issue.

Can you please let me know how the destination (yellow) will be filled when I select 'All'.

Do I need to have any formula there?

If I use formula like =if($destination$x='All',"",$destination$x) is not working. it's passing blank to my query (with 'In List' operator) and I am getting parsing error. If I select single value it's working fine.

If I use formula like =if($destination$x='All',$D$4:$D$8,$destination$x) also not working.

any suggestions.

Thanks
