I do have critical issues over here in Master data.

we are trying to change the personnel subarea of an employee , system throws an error time constraint allows only one person at a time. we surprised system throws an error while changing sub area of an employee,

then we looked in the issue found that. his position is holding by two people for a certain period for example

Position : 12346 - Holder(123467) 11.02.2012 - 31.03.2012

Position : 12346 - Holder(896532) 28.02.2012 - 31.06.2012)

system somewhat allowed this which is very weird to me , but now we are trying to correct the issue. but unable to do it.

If we change through pa40 it says retroactive account is there not possible. when tried to change in PP01 Says , change in data too far into past.

Dont know how to correct this.

Any suggestions appreicated
