     Hi SAP Guru's

I do have critical issues over here in Master data.

we are trying to change the personnel subarea of an employee , system throws an error time constraint allows only one person at a time. we surprised system throws an error while changing sub area of an employee,

then we looked in the issue found that. his position is holding by two people for a certain period for example

Position : 12346 - Holder(123467) 11.02.2012 - 31.03.2012

Position : 12346 - Holder(896532) 28.02.2012 - 31.06.2012)

system somewhat allowed this which is very weird to me , but now we are trying to correct the issue. but unable to do it.

If we change through pa40 it says retroactive account is there not possible. when tried to change in PP01 Says , change in data too far into past.

Dont know how to correct this.

Any suggestions appreicated

Hi Sriram,

You can change position to person relationship A008 time constraint via table T777D you can select an option which suggest only one record at a time. See in dafault a psotion can be assigned to multiple persons but you can control via this table.

I have changed PSA of many employees pl. check once again.. and if a problem then revert.

Many thanks for your reply. do i need to change the the table T777D or T777i, because when i login in to T777D i see different screen.

Where should i go exactly and change the time constraint to 3

Hi Sri,

Just login into T777i table and Select relationship and click on time constraint and then select the TCC class.

Hi Sriram,

IF you want to change the time constraint class for the infotypes  Eneter the T code - OOIT  slect the infotype 1001 and click on time constraint class in that screen u can see the time constraint class for all the relationships . Screen shot has been attached for your reference

Hi

Please check the control record dates & Status ( PA03) and the infotype 0003 (Pu03) . IF you allowing to change the before controll record date it will not allow to change

Hi Sriram,

            use transaction code PO13 to change the existing position.
