Sapinfo and NAT Network Adress Translation

Hi SAP basis,

I have a problem when using sapinfo accros a NAT network.

I don't have have problem on a simple LAN.

My monitoring system, on which I want to install sapinfo, connect to SAP server with a NAT IP adress.

Real Adress IP of SAP server is on 10.2.2.X

I connect to it with 15.2.2.X

Yet it seems that the translation mecanism don't convert IP source. When I arrived on SAP server, i laucnh smgw and I see that IP source is 15.2.2.X, althought it should be 10.2.2.X.

Does anybody have any idea ?

Add a route ?

thanks/

Dear Jean,

You need to configure the WAN address against the LAN along with required ports and your network team will do it.

Thanks for your help Jamil.

Yet this parameter does not solve my pb.

And after discussing with network team, it seems there are no solutions on their side 😞

Hi,

For information, we only solved this problem by installaing sapinfo on the monitoring system.

We can't succeed with NAT.

Thanks.

This is not really a SAP problem, you need to talk to your Network team.
