need to activate VMC in order to use pricing in CRM7 ?

Dear all CRM expert,

I want to create a sales contract in CRM and to use pricing there. I am not sure if I want to define pricing in R/3 and transfer it to CRM system via the middleware or to define pricing directly in CRM system.

I understand that I need to activate VMC but I would like to know what is the consequence of this activation for the other objects in CRM ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Best Regards,

Elsa.

Hi,

i think it wont effect any other processes, and you need to do is go to sm52 t.code

and activate the VMC...

HI,

As per my knowledge It will noot affect to any other process.

if you want to use pricing in CRM then you need to activate VMC component other wise it will not work completely.

Link for eg: In calling of pricing routine VMC component is used irrespective of whether pricing procedure is created in CRM / ECC.

Thank you Ankush and Srinivas for your help.

I have an other question: if my company decides to not use the pricing in CRM system only in R/3, can I after activating VMC to desactivate it without effect on other processes ?

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Elsa.
