Consumer Logon Scenario

Former Member

Hi,

As per my understanding I have made all configurations for Consumer scenario to enable login

for user into webshop. Contact scnario works fine already for  the same CRM instance.

I have created BP with consumer profile and assigned internet user to this consumer. Sales org data is same as what is defined in Commons

modules in WCB. All external services are assigned to technical user and this webshop user.

Still when we try to login we get an error message Login is Invalid, Check your entries and no detailed message is found in log file. Please

help, any steps that I missed

Thanks,

-Tarun

Hi,

I cannot recall so quickly the B2C situation, but i can explain you in detail the B2B situation.

In all situations you will need a su01 user.

IF you use ABAP & UME

=> su01 is used to retrieve the permissions

=> ume is used to check your password

=> su01 userid & ume userid must be equal

if you use ABAP only

=> su01 is used to retrieve the permissions & to check the password

for the B2B Case the user is added to a contact person within the BP transaction.

For the B2C case you should review

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_wec200/helpdata/en/c8/b857e06b3248698969b10739f2f001/content.htm?framese...

Did you check the BAPI, which validates the authorisation?

Hi Andreas,

B2B scenario works fine. Its the B2C which hasn't worked for me till now

Just thinking loud and need your opinion here. Do you think we must a reference business partner for the BP with consumer role? How do we create a reference business partner for a consumer who doesn't have a customer record in ECC?

Hi, you definetely will need a reference object. This fact is stated in the link i did send you.

Hello Tarun,

Please create an OSS Message for this. First turn on online debug message with url & wec-debug=true. While redo the logon attempt the system will return more informativ debug messages pointing to the error location.

Please add the system-access and your results to the message. Also the information about the user-storage is relevant.

Component for the message is wec-app-um.

Best regards,

Arno
