Hi All
The Error #UNAVAILABLE is getting displayed in 2 measures of the report which is based on the Hyperion Essbase OLAP Cube.
Issues Background:
The requirement is to display the current and previous year data in single block of the crosstab report. Below is the report template.
We have displayed the current year data in the Body Cells and the previous year data (just 2 fields) are getting displayed in the row headers. Kindly refer the attached document.
If I apply a filter in the block to get the current year data then I will be losing my previous year data in the report. Hence I am adding the WHERE clause in the column header and Body cells to get the current year data. The same is done to get the previous year data in the row headers.
Example: [Year] where ([Year]=”FY12” and [Scenario]=”Plan”)
After adding the WHERE clause in the column header and Body cells 2 of my measure objects displays #UNAVAILABLE.
Could you please let me know how this issue can be resolved?
Details:
BO Version : SAP BO 4.0 Fix pack 2
Using Rich Client to generate the report.
Thanks
Ajith
Hi,
please search the forum with #UNAVAILABLE as this question has been asked numerous times before.
or indeed use the knowledge base search tools at www.service.sap.com/notes
also please specify your SP and Patch level, as FixPacks don't exist in BI4
regards,
H

Hi Henry
Thanks for your reply. I could not find any useful thread which is related to #UNAVAILABLE error of OLAP Essbase Cube.
We are using the bundle pack of SAP BO BI 4.0 SP4 and build version in 738.
We are getting the Data for those 2 measures in the Query level but applying filters in the report variables.
Could you please let me know on which scenarios we will get the #Unavailable error.
I have attached the sample report output for your reference.
Thanks
Ajith
Your measures are Database Delegated. That's the reason you are getting that error. You need to change Aggregation Type of your measure to SUM if you are using a universe. You can search the forum and you will find plenty of answers to this very same question. Even if you are using essbase, the behavior of BO is the same for OLAP data sources.
