where do we assign partner determination procedure for ibase in component level???

HI,

Every install base is assigned to "Install Base Category" and to this Category "Oartner Determination procedure" is assigned.

This Setup is available at Master Data -> Installed Base -> Assign Partner Determination to Istalled Base Category

Thanks for your response...assigning PDP to Ibase catogery is fine..that is to header level

But i want to know assigning PDP in to component level in Ibase????

Is PDP inheritance from higher level suitable for your scenario?

Hi Srinivas,

I dont thing ther is any provision to assign PDP at Component level except inherit it from Install Base Hierarchical level through Customization in SPRO, unless you do a development.

This is because of the following:

• The inheritance of partners is a logical rather than a physical inheritance
• Partner assignment is used during the search for components to take partner inheritance into account.
