maintain multiple line item at contract po

Dear Friends,

kindly suggest me to maintain no of line item at contract level and conditions for item wise for value contracts.when ever user creates PO refer to that same  contract if user cross the maximum value of contract price  system should not all to make PO for that particular line item only.

Message no.: 06-042- Target value of contract & exceeded by & &..

Your question is confusing. Pls explain.

Usually when contract is exausted, system issues warning message at the time of PO creation. If you want, convert that warning message into error. System wont allow then users to create PO once contract value is consumed.

Hi Nilesh,

Here my question is i have created one value contract with the target value is 1lac for four different material and for each material i have allocated same quantity and same amount.

if i select particular line item system should not allow the user to make PO more than the quantity and price of the material for that line item.kindly suggest me how to control this.
