Deart expert,
I've just study on the "fragmentation"
One question come to me
In SAP system, do we use often the ASSM to manage tablespace? in both 10g and 11g?
Which objects are recommended using ASSM?
Thank you!
Kate
Hi Kate,
ASSM is a standard in the SAP environment from a long time of period. This feature has been added into Oracle by 9i release. Please note that there are some differences to use ASSM on RAC and non-RAC environments.

Hello Orkun Gedik,
Thank you for your answer.
Does that means if you set up a SAP+oracle system like ERP 6.05, all the tablespace present is in the default mode: ASSM?
If not want to know which objects are using ASSM?
And if new objects are going to be created , Which kind of objects are recommended to use ASSM?
Thank you!
Kate
