SAP Cycle Counting

Hi Experts,

We are planning to commence cycle counting in our plants and I have some doubts even though I have provided with some guidance notes. I have upadted the CC indicators using the last six months material usage. My question is when I want to create Cycle Counting count sheets for a given date using MICN it shown a long list of materials for counting. Given the current staff constraints all those count sheets can not be completed within the same day. Is it possible for me to select a few materials a day form the long list SAP suggest. if so how to print only them. Also, Once create count sheet, does the system Freez the stock (ie. you can not do any movement of that item in SAP)

Please advise.
