Performance management process selection

Hi All,

I am attempting to having multiple predefined performance management processes available. I previously asked this question in the following post: http://scn.sap.com/thread/3320648

This link also provides very good information on the predefined process and using the BADI: http://www.consolut.com/en/s/sap-ides-access/d/s/doc/YY-PAOC_HAP_PA_003

I have now started to test out the capabilities of this BADI (HRHAP00_PMP_PROCESS), and have found that it is indeed possible to control the template by editing the variable "rr_process" in the method GET_CURRENT_PROCESS.

However, it controls it at the user level. The manager starts the appraisal process for the employees he manages. Would that user (the manager) have the option to start one template or another for any employee?

For example, say the manager manages employees 1-10. For employees 1-3, he wishes to start the appraisal process using Template 1. For employees 4-10, he wishes to start the appraisal process using Template 2.

Thanks in advance,

Current

You can do it in the backend system as well using PHAP_CREATE_PA?

or you want to control via MSS through create button, and what you explain is possible to use different templates for different set of employees

Hi Siddarth,

Thanks for your reply.

We are using the netweaver business client to perform the appraisal process. With the current process (using predefined PMP), documents are created by scheduling a meeting with employees. When the manager logs in, the appraisal template is already selected when entering the performance appraisal screen. The actual template can be controlled using the BADI for the user, however once the template is chosen and the user is logged into NWBC, there is no option to use the other template.

What we would like is to have the manager log in to NWBC, and have access to both templates when creating the appraisal documents by scheduling meetings.

Would this be possible?

Thanks,
