Context defaults for a report in BPC 10

Is there a way to set the context defaults for a report in BPC 10?

Hi,

Install EPM Add-in SP13 patch 04. SAP has introduced new option called Context Favorites. You can create your favourite contex and save.

Hi,

We can set our defalut context option from Feature(Admin)--->Context Default ,its for Model level.if you want for user specific.we can go for Context favourite.

My experience is that the context defaults only works for the web and not the EPM Add-In, to my disappointment.  There are context favorites that the user can set and use, but I do not know of a way to set defaults for the context, as an administrator, like you can for the BPC web.

I have the same experience Jeff... Doesn't workl for EPM client...

Favorites is a nice option, but when you want to set a default member... Like a new version or a new year, you should be able to do that centrally... Not per user or per report...

Hi

For report level context defaults - please look at Option > Context Options >Worksheet and Workbook options in the EPM add in. You can select the member - and then ensure the checkbox for "Lock" is selected - which ensures this is the default member for this dimension for the report
