BCM notifications

Hello.

Does anybody know how to get automatic notifications from SAP portal (or anywhere else), when BCM hotfix, patch or service package comes out?

I tried out this SAP Portal newsletter and used BCM filter, but it shows lot of stuff and didn't see BCM hotfixes at all.

Never tried but just explored. May be it will work as you expect.

There is a release note for each SP of BCM software. For instance for the latest:

Note 1824638 - BCM 7.0 SP04 Patch 1 Release (7.0.4.100)

And all hotfixies for this SP are included in it. At the top right corner of the note there is a link Subcribe. When you press it and confirm your choice then you'll get a message:

SAP Note subscribed
You will be informed about every update to this SAP Note in your Inbox!

Just wondering what is 'your Inbox'. But worth to try.

Actually I have tried it out with BCM filter and it is not very good

This is my filter:

Look at all the stuff it sends me, no use of filter here

Maybe we should make a SAP BCM updates discussion here and if anybody notices new update, he/she will write about it to discussion and you can get notification e-mail about that discussion

you're talking about search and filters. I'm talking about subscribing for updates to exact note.

Never tried but just explored. May be it will work as you expect.

Here I meant that I have never tried to do what I described, e.g. subscribe to the note.

Ok, now I understand. Logically it will notify you if this exact note changes, but I will still try it out and see, if I get something, then new hotfix is released for patch 100.

But they are possibly updating related notes here, so let's wait for next hotfix

1 Hot fix = 1 Note.

New hotfix => new note. And this one will be updated (related notes section) => you get a messge.

It was promising, but didn't help

Lot of new hotfixes have come out, but only e-mail what I got every week includes this:

Correct.

It seems that the reason is because the note has not been updated since 19.03.2013. It is still has 'valid since 19.03.2013'. Are you sure that notes with 106-108 hotfixes were not there when we discussed this previously?

They were not. Look at my Related notes picture up there. I made a screenshot from entire Related notes section. Also these new hotfixes are "valid from" later than 19.03.
