Upgrading to sap business one 9.0

Hi experts..

I need an explanation..

Actually we have a SAP Business ONE installation with version 8.82 PL 05 on a MS windows 2003 ent R2 server (32-bit)

The database is a MSSQL Server 2005 on a MS Windows 2003 standard server (32 bit)

Can i upgrade to a SAP business one 9.0 without change our server, operating system and database??

Or we need to change the hw to a 64 bit servers?

And for the database, could we use MSSQL 2005 or we need 2008 /2012??

There is a hardware / software requirements documentation on line??

Thank's in advance and have a nice w-end..

LUCA

HI to all.. And thank for replay..

Following the link posted from  Vamsi Parimisetti it seems that the SAP 9.0 is compatible also with WIN 2003 R2 32 bit.

If not.. wich could be the correct procedure to update from 8.82 to 9.0 considering we have created many Users Defined Fields and Users Defined Tables?

Hi,

Check maintenance period for WIN 2003 R2 32 bit in above webpage.

Note : Maintained until 13/07/2010, may be depending on vendor it will be increased.

Hi Naga.

Yes i know.. Our servers are out of maintenance.. and also in END OF LIFE.

And i know also that the better way is to upgrade our system.

We are looking around for a virtual solution, and i would like to have a clear vision about how pass from 8.82 on 32 bit server to a 9.0 on a 64bit server.

Dear Gianluca,

You should Format the server and install again after that you pass from 8.82 on 32 bit server to a 9.0 on a 64bit server.

Hi,

For sucessful running SAP 9.0 version, requirements are

1. Server plate form - Microsoft windows server 2008

2. Client plate form - Window 7

3. Database - Microsoft SQL server 2008

Hope helpful.
