Unable to see the data at List of total records Option

Hello BCS experts,

We have an issue with data display in BCS,and that is after doing a data load at PL00 level the data should appear in "List of total records" option but there we can't see any data,the system was throwing message like "No data....",and other side PL10 data we could see in "List of journal entries" option and the same data unable to see in "List of total records",and interestingly we could see all the data when we do list cube on that particular BCS cube.

Kindly advice if you any idea on such issue.

I concur with Eugene. List of Totals Records selection parameters are key. Included in these selections in the reporting mode. I suggest you start with the reporting mode of none so that no consolidation logic is used from the virtual cube function module.

Thanks for your quick replies.

I could see other data as expected in both "List of total Records" and by doing "Listcube" on that particular BCS cube,but the problem with some data which I can see in "List cube" but not at "List of total records" and I have used the same parameters both side.

Kindly advice how this functionality works like listing records at "List of total records" from BCS cube.

Please look at the previous Dan's message - he mentioned about the report mode - it's a radio button in the initial parameters screen. Please choose "none".

And compare with the data from the BW look. Do you see any difference?

I have tried all options,no use..

   For posting level 00,when we re execute the data load task then the data is appearing at List of total records and in List cube correctly,but need to understand the issue when we loaded first time it was there in list of total records after a day or two this data got missed from list of total records and it was appearing at only list cube level.

Hhm, I may say only about  two cases in my practice:

1). Direct deletion data from the SEM-BCS cube - by different means, from BW, BPS, BI-IP, SEM-BCS itself, etc. The system may not delete the record, but post another record with the inverted sign for amount (storno). Depending on the set of parameters in the selection screen (and the set of infoobjects in the cube), the system may show these two inverting records separately or just collapse them, showing nothing.

2). The standard inverting of documents in SEM-BCS.

If you wood provide more details, probably some another thoughts could come into the mind.

It's rather difficult to answer. There is not enough info.

From my experience I know that looking for totals data in SEM-BCS, first of all, may depend on the set of parameters you choose in the initial screen. And the result might be different for look from BW and BCS sides.

Trust to look into the cube from BW. If you do not see the needed from BCS - it's most likely your fault - the proper set of parameters is needed.
