Change excel formatting WAD Excel Export 2000

Dear community,

we are using the BEx WAD webitem functionallity for exporting data to excel.

If I open the exported Excel (Export to Excel 2000) I got some strange settings, e.g. active word-wraps.

Are there any possibilities of changing such kind of Excel settings?

Hi Sapna,

I can give you following reproducable steps:

- I use a Web Application Designer template

- for the export there is defined a webitem button with function "EXPORT"

- command-specific parameters: just for "Export Format" -> XLS2000

in sum no "special settings", the export to Excel works without any failure. Now the problem: if the export is openned in Excel 2003/2007/2010 I get this Excel with some Excel settings which are not that helpful for our business. This ist for example the active excel setting "word-wraps".

Is there any possibility to predefine these excel settings (no active word-wraps after exporting via wad to excel)?
