What is influence of Physical Inventory doc on MAP(moving aveg. Price)?

Hello Experts,

I would like to know the effect on accounting entries when a PI doc is created, posted. What if the material has price control as "V" in MMR or price control "S" in MMR. Kindly ellaborate if possible.

a physical inventory difference posting has no effect on MAP

the value string (OMJJ  - Account grouping) starts with WA, WA is the german abbreviation for Goods issue. Goods issues do not change moving average prices (except you post with external values, which is not possible in physical inventory), they are just valuated at moving average price. And if the price is not different then it cannot cause a price change.

In Moving Average Price (system pass entries based on MAV - 20 INR) - 10 Items

BSX - Inventory Account (Credit(701 Mvmt Type /Debit (702 mvmt Type))  200RS Cr (701M)/200Rs Dr (702M)

GBB - Inventory Difference (Debit (701 Mvmt Type /Credit (702 mvmt Type)) 200RS Dr (701M)/200Rs Cr (702M)

In Standard Price (system pass entries based on Standard - 18 INR)  - 10 Items

BSX - Inventory Account (Credit(701 Mvmt Type /Debit (702 mvmt Type))  180RS Cr (701M)/180Rs Dr (702M)
