Dear Experts,
We just upgraded DB2 9.7 from FP9 to FP11 in our DEV and QAS system.
However, we made mistake when choosing the db2 version i.e DB2 ESE instead of DB2 DB2 AESE.
My question is:
Can we move to the ESE version, by re-installing the engine with the ESE one with the common steps of fixpak upgrade?
Please advise.
Regards,
Rudi
Yes, you can install a new ESE software copy and switch your existing DB2 AESE instance to the ESE software copy using db2iupdt. Regards Frank
