How to change sourcesystem-ID in BW

Hallo,

since we want to change the ID of one source system in BW, I wanted to know what`s the best way to handle this.

I`ve read that I first have to delete the sourcesystem entry in the list, create a new entry and then give it a new ID over

Tools → Assignment Source System to Source System ID

But I am not sure how to delete the entry. Perhaps I need special permissions?

Hi Burger,

Accept with Aakash, Go with this option: RSA1-> Source system-> Tools->Assignment of Sourcesystem to source system ID, create source system. if not allowed to create,  then take basis help or required apporvals.

You want to assign source system to source system ID?

If yes i think we can achieve by

RSA1 --->Tools ---> select asgnmtof srce syst . to srce syst.id.

I think there we can edit.

I'm not sure about this lets wait for other replies
