Add-Ons connected but failed to start

Hi Expert,

Please help me how to solve this kind of error. The error says (3 choices) *Restart add-Ons * Log-off from the company/system (something like that i forgot to screenshot the error) or *Continue using the system without using the add-on when trying to install the add-ons on WORKSTATION like for example the Fixed Assets. I tried to restart add-ons but still the error appeared.

There is no Fixed Assets shown on the add and remove programs on the windows control Panel and i can see Fixed assets on ADD-ons manager and the status is connected. After clicking the start button the error appeared but the status is connected.

Note: SAP Folder on program files has full access/authorization, I tried to remove the add-ons and reinstall but the error still persist.

Hi Ana Pascual ...

Check with the user does it has full authorisation...

Manually stop and start the TAO NT naming service & Restart the SAP License manager.

Also restart add-on License server  ., Now try to start add-ons from Add-on Manager.

Hi All,

Thank you so much for the reply. By the way, i was able to solve the error above. I restarted the TAO NT Naming service under services and run the client as administrator but still the error appeared. What i did was, i add the IP address and server name on the hosts under C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and it works properly.

Hi Ana,

Right click SAP businees one and choose run as adminstrator.

Let me the know the result.
