I have the following situation: My customer is entering plan costs to plan activity-dependent costs. They do the plan price calculation, and all works fine so far.
They also do the actual price calculation, which generally works fine.
However, whenever the enter actual costs for a cost element they did not plan, these costs will be shown as fixed costs. How can I use the actual cost splitting to turn these costs into variable costs, without having to enter a dummy plan amount of, say, 1 USD? For example, we have planned salaries but no wages. Now if I get an actual posting on wages, how can I tell the system to apply the wages as variable costs, just like the salaries?
