Regarding Import of protected Record

Dear All,

Whenever we try to import the record which is protected, IM gives error message.

We have a requirement in which , we want to reject all the records if any one record is protected.

So , if we have 5 records to be imported and one is protected - we want IM to tell us this before executing the final import.

Can anyone help us on this ?
