Hi Gurus
i am working for the first time in depo sales. Following is our requirement.
Depo to Depo (12.36% excise) price is 100
Depo to customer (12.36% excise) price is 135
The customer has to pay excise duty for only 35 rs as for excise duty already paid for 100 rs while transfering to depo. How can we map this scenario in SAP.
Regards
Sidhu Singh
What do you mean by differential. I already explained how system behaves at the time of sales purchase in Depot.

Hi,
In Depot, irrespective of your sales price you can only pass on duties and rates equals to purchase duties and rates. So even though you procured one piece at 100 (say duties 10+2+1=13), when you sell this item at 135, duties will be same (duties 10+2+1=13). You dont need to and you can not adjust duties.

Excise duties are levied over value added during production. In case of depot sales, you are charging extra 35 INR without any further processing of the material as against your purchase price of INR 100 from factory. So excise duties will be INR 12.36 even if your Sale price will be INR 135. INR 35 is your sales margin and cannot be loaded with excise.
So as mentioned before create new condition types for excise duties. Create condition records as INR 12.36/Kg.

Hi Your question is confusing.
In depot you need to refer to purchase excise invoice while creating depot excise invoice for customer. You can pass on duities on pro rata basis only. Your sales price can vary which will com e from material master or from condition record. For the particular case, you need to use one specific condition, create access sequence and maintain condition record. When you maintain 135 against this condition, system will pick 135 automatically based on access sequence.

Hi Sidhu,
Define Excise Condition type for BED amount per Kg with class A and calctype C. Similarly you can define condition types for Edu Cess and HECess.
