Infotype Audit log report User ID error

Hi Experts,

We are facing error in Infotype audit log report (RPUAUD00).When we change IT09 through PA30 it show correct user in change by field but when we check in Infotype Audit log for IT09 than it show other user name .Please let me know where I need to change to correct this issue.

There is PCL4 worngly update.Now We need to find how PCL4 updated at the time of PA30 changes.

You might just miss-understand the way audit report works. Let's say user 'USR1' created the original IT0009 which had an end date of 12/31/9999. In IT0009, it has user 'USR1' stamped in 'Changed by'  along with 'Change Date'.

Now, if user 'USR2' is creating a new IT0009 (e.g. begda of 04/03/13), behind the screen, SAP would delete the old IT0009, create two new IT0009 (one that looks like the original IT0009 with endda  to be a day earlier than the new IT0009's begda, and a new IT0009 with endda of 12/31/9999).

As all these records were changed by user 'USR2', audit will stamp 'USR2' as the one who made the changes. However, if you look at the 'original' IT0009 record (that was delimited), the changed date / changed by would still be the original changed date / changed by (i.e. 'USR1', not 'USR2') .
