Report RFITEMAP sets "use archive" as default

Hi everyone,

since we've upgraded our system from 4.7 to ECC 6.0, the transactions FBL1N and FBL3N (reports RFITEMAP and RFITEMGL, respectively) have set the data source "Archive" by default.

This means that if the user doesn't remember to take this option away, the performance of the report will be very low, as SAP is analyzing archived documents even for line items from the current fiscal year.

I haven't found the place where I can switch this option off by default - but I guess this place exists, as transaction FBL5N (RFITEMAR) is only set to "Database", and "Archive" is deselected here by default.

Can anybody help me here and point out where this option is hiding?

Thanks very much in advance

Sebastian

Hi Sebastin,

Look for the entries in the below specified table. Kindly award points.

  • Tables ASACCESS01 and ASDATASRC1

The preassignment of the data source dialog can be defined in the table ASACCESS01 (up to Release 4.6C) and in the table ASDATASRC1 (as of Release 4.70).

If there is no entry in the table ASACCESS01 or ASDATASRC1 for a specific report, or if the field ASACCESS or USE_INFSYS is empty for an entry, the system uses only the database as the data source.

If ASACCESS or USE_INFSYS is filled with the value 'X', the system uses the database and the archive as data sources. In the dialog box for defining data sources, "Information System use" is also selected.

The preassignment of the data source dialog of the FI line item lists can be changed using the following entries. Since there is no separate maintenance transaction yet, you must make the entries using transaction SE16. If the entries have to be transported, you can include them in a request by choosing "Table Entry -> Transport Entries" in the menu in transaction SE16.
