MDM Java API Upgrade commands

Hi All,

I am new to MDM and I have an upgrade of MDM 5.5 to 7.1 with Java APIs.

I checked up Java API Migration Guide and Java API Guide. What I can not understand was do I have to write commands again for Java APIs or just deploy the new files and it will be fine?

Actually I don't think deploying files will be enough.( hope this to be wrong) I will need to compile codes I guess. But I am not sure how much work is there. Surely can not see until I start this job.

Is there anyone upgraded MDM4J to the new MDM Java API who can give advise??

in my case, i didn't see too much change,

the big change is the way how mdm connection is established.

Hi Murat,

Java API's specific to MDM 7.1 are already available. I think delpoying the files will be fine.!

i don't think so, a lot api changed in mdm 7.1 java api

you have to recompile the code based on the new mdm java lib
