BPCA - Setting priority for mission critical Bus Proc's

Hello,

How do you define and set the 'customer attributes' in solution manager? In slide decks for BPCA I see screen shots (CustAttributes.jpg) where in what appears to be SOLAR01 > Select a business process > Structure tab > Select Step ? Attributes Maintenance > Customer Attributes tab -- is where they would appear (SOLAR01.jpg). However, I cannot add anything here. I believe they need to be created somewhere else but where?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I didnt see any mention of the actual tab Customer Attributes under the Structure tab of Process Steps. I am way unfamiliar w tables and modifying them. Just looking for a means to create an attribute for business process priority. Although, the thread supplied was very informative, I just found it difficult to filter out the exact steps I would need to perform to accomplish what I want..

Hi

Basically its configuration which Solution Manager functional person can do via SPRO activity under implementation/Upgrade and its covered in the thread that how you can achieve it.

this way we can configure any customer attribute and then only you can get it enabled there to be applied to business process. It depends what we want for a specific customer so based upon that you can have  ztable with those values as per requirements and attaching to your custom attribute.

This is something similar to a documentation type so you configure in your project and then you can choose your new doc type in solar01 or 02 to upload this type of document etc.

this extremely helps in BPCA test optimization or building high priority reports or BPM etc

But unless you configure it in SPRO it is not enabled.

I hope above clarifies if not let me know
