Count records datasource

Hi experts,

Is there any function module or program which allow to count the number of records that a datasource will load in full mode? (especially for huge data)

I want to avoid using RSA3.

Hi,

I don't think that in source system such a funcitional module is available. SAP does not need this information for extraction and transport of data to BW.

Hi Amine,

If you are using LO extractor then you can see this in setup table. For generic it is based on your logic so not a direct answer
