Additional MANUAL depreciation on asset

Hi All,

I have doubt about manual depreciation.

I have requirement from user to post a additional depreciation on asset.

Asset Acq Value - Rs 2,200.00

Planned depreciation : Rs 100.00

Extra depreciation to be posted is : Rs 100.00

Final effect : Asset Value : Rs 2,000.000

How to post manual depreciation of Rs 100 to this asset ?

is there any configuration needs to do in system. Please provide expert guidance.

Best way is to post unplanned Depreciation for this using T.Code ABAA.

Hi Sharvari,

Use Transaction type 610 . Please test in the test enviroment and understand the requirment more clearly from user and show the result of posted transaction to user.

After posting Manual Depreciation to asset, do I need to RUN AFAB to get the effect ? or just a manual posting in enough ! ! ! !

Please guide and explain the Manual Depreciation functionality.
