Crystal Reports 2008 with Visual Studio 2010

We are developing our project using VS2008, which in turn uses Crystal Reports 2008 (CR Developer 12.3.0.601), Microsofot. NET Framework 3.5 and everything works perfectly.

However, we intend to use our project with Visual Studio 2010.

Everything will work properly with this version of Crystal Reports used by VS 2010?

Regarding Microsofot. NET Framework, which versions are supported?

Thanks in advance

I downloaded what you indicated me, and I noticed that version of Crystal Reports works within Visual Studio 2010.

Does that version of Crystal ONLY WORKS with Visual Studio 2010/12?

I ask you this because the person who will handle the creation / development of reports HAS NO Visual Studio installed on his pc.

How can I solve it ?

Um.... that link and installer is for the Developer who has VS 2010 installed. If someone else needs to design reports then use CR 2008 or CR 2011 full report designer.

Not clear what the problem is for you, CR 2008 runtime is not supported in VS 2010, it works but if any issues we can't fix them. To use Reports designed in CR 2008 standalone report designer in a VS 2010 application use the CRD for VS and runtime to create and distribute the application.

You can get CR 2011 from this link:

Hello Fabio

yes, everything should work just fine - as long as you use "SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 / 2012". Download links for this version of CR is here:

http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7824

Install SP5 directly.

This version will support frm 2 to 4.5.

Also be aware CR 2008 .NET runtime is NOT supported in for VS 2010. So as Ludek indicated It should work but if there are issues we can't escalate them unless you can replicate the issue in Visual studio 2008.

Use CR Developer for Visual Studio ( 2010/2012), supported on Windows 8 and Server 2012 now also with SP 5.
