Hi all,

    I know to create the OVS help. But my client requirement is whenever the user enter the value on OVS input field the related possible value should be appear on below the input field for example Google.

How can i achieve this.

Help me to fix my problem.

Hi John,

For this you do not need OVS instead of that on the input field you need to  select the "Suggest Values" property this will solve your problem.

but for this your version of SAP Should support this new property .

For confirming the same you can Open the class "CL_WD_INPUT_FIELD" and in that search for the method "GET_SUGGEST_VALUES" . If this method is present then  you do not need to do anything

you need to just select the "Suggest Values" property of the Input field in Webdynpro UI.

Hi John,

For normal input field with dictionary search help you get suggest values. For this you need to check suggest value in input field property. for reference check already suggested links.

But Suggested value lists are not displayed for OVS-programmed and user-programmed value helps..

Their is no need to use the OVS search help u can achieve it through dictionary search help.

Just try with dictionary.
