Need to minus ED 17.06 tax from total

Hello,

I want to create one tax code

Tax TypeCode
BEDBED@12
CesseCess
HSCessHSC
CSTCST@2
EDED @17.06% on basic

In this tax code, I want to add all BED= Cess = HSCess + CST.

But at the same time I want to Minue ED 17.06

can anyone please tell me how to do this?

what formula I should use? in tax formula??????????

Hi Punam,

You may try the following:

  • Create Tax type for ED with rate as 17.06%
  • For ED, create the tax formula as mentioned below:

ED:

Base Amount = -Total

Tax Amount = Base Amount * Rate

Instead of Total, you can also use Quantity * Price or AV * Qty depending upon your requirement. Do use a negative sign to reverse 17.06%.

Check this in Test Db.

I am trying to add this formula in tax formula, and system gives me error this entry already exist, but in actual this entry is not threre in system

Hi Punam,

If you are unable to create a new formula and getting this error message, you would have to open a case with SAP.

In the meanwhile, you can check this formula in a different db.

Hi,

For the entry already exists error, you need to log a support ticket to get the issue investigated.

It seems to be a database issue.
