Hi Gurus,
The requirement is basically to create a periodic invoice to the customer for a Service Contract.
E.g. Rs1000 per month.
In case the contract is starting on 15th of the first month then for example the service charge has to be pro-rated.
In this case this would be Rs500 pro rata billing for the 1st month the billing period should be 15/05/2013 to 31/05/2013. I can get the dates for the 1st month, as required but not the price (Rs 500). It is still Rs 1000.
Please suggest how to go about this.
Regards,
Himanshu
Hi,
Hope you know how to activate the Periodic billing plan for your Item category VOV7
now create a new condition type for which you want to use as periodic billing in V/06 and make the calculation type as M ( Quantity -Monthly Price)
it will be calculated on pro rata base
hope you understood
Try and share your inputs

Hello Himanshu,
Go to IMG - Sales and Distribution - Billing - Billing Plan - Define Billing Plan Types - Maintain billing plan types for periodic billing - Here for your Billing Plan Type check the following:
1. Start Date - 13 - Contract Start (Contract header)
2. Dates From - 11 - Contract Start Date
Now in your Contract ensure that at Header & Item level the From date is 15.05.2013 & system will automatically calculate price for 15 days.
Thanks,
Jignesh Mehta
