Hi,

We are facing one issue in our ECC (ERP6 EHP4) system. Wehenever we try to attach any

word or PDF doc to any email or FI document; we get an error Message

no. SO322; document of this type is not allowed in your system Wehereas

if we try the same with a text file; it goes fine. We have associated

Content Server version 4.6. Could you please help on this

Hello,

In transaction SOPE, check whether file type PDF is forbidden.

If yes, it must be allowed.

Also check in the system, and see if the content repository SOFFDB is configured correctly.

Hi All,

As updated; we were facing error not only with PDF but with word etc as well; also checked the suggestions and things were up to date.

While finding similar errors;we found one similar check RSCMST test for ZSOFFDB. Here we found error HTTP/1.1 401 Authorization required.

signer rc=26. invalid password for signer

For this content server related error; we found SAP note 1800664. After applying this note; the problem got resolved

Hi Varun,

In OAD5 transaction code for relevant FI object for eg FIINVOICE check what is the application type defined. I guess its not PDF and hence you landup in this error message.

You may change the configuration there and then check the results.

Please check whether you have maintained MIME type *.pdf, if not please maintain in SMW0 and try. let me know if you found any issue.

Could you please check the table entry in TSOPE .

and ensure pdf type should not be lock there.
