How to handle project stock through maint order

Hi ,

When we choose special proc function Resrvn+PR in with item category Q in network , you get feature of procurement (PR-PO-GR) and project can withdraw material from project stock using reservation which was simultaneously created in network order.

If I want to have same features in maintenance order , how can we do this ?. I can't get special procurement function in order. Project want's to do this way as they can have history of procurement against an equipment which is not possible in network order or direct PR.

As Project stock available in SAP, there is no Maintenance Order stock available in SAP.

If you want to get the history of Procurement done against Maintenance Order, you can use IW13 (Materials where used list) or MB51 (Material Documents list) with Transaction type as WF (Goods Receipt for Order).

Else you can get the PO list through ME2K.

Well ,

I created a new Item category "Z" which will create both reservation and PR.  When I add component  I mention Item category as "Z" and special procurement tpe as 2 (Project stock) ....

PR is used to procure item as project stock in inventory and reservation is used to get this item released from stock .

It works .....
