Issue with LCM

Hi All,

We are using LCM to migrate documents from one server to another.

When ever we want to made changes, we are downloading the copy, make modifications in rich client and then we are exporting the document to the repository same folder.

Then we are facing some errors."like same object exists with different ID".

Request to put some light on it.

in order for LCM/Promotion management to work correctly, the CUID if the report in the source system has to be the same as of the same report in the destination system.

When you using WRC to make changes to report, it looks like you are saving it localy first and it changes the CUID.

You need to follow this workflow instead :

1. Strt WRC

2. Import Webi report from repository

3. make required changes

4. save back to repository.

this way report CUID remains constant.
