We have a custom content admin role. After doing a portal patch, somehow the persmission has been changed and this role is not able to modify role or workset. When we try to change object ID of a role, wee are getting this error: This role did not contain any objects.
“The selected action needs to modify dependent objects that reference the selected objects. You do not have permission to modify all relevant dependant objects”
We like to turn on a trace via NWA to see what permission is missing or what folder we need to add permission to.
Does anyone know what we need to turn on for this kind of trace?
We are on NW7.0 SP22.
Hello Kim,
The problem is not in the permission of the user or role you are using. The problem is that the object you want to rename is used somewhere for example as a delta link or locked by someone. You have to check what object is depending on it and remove the dependencies.
Best Regards,
Teodor
