Hello,

I would like to do a test migration of an ECC 6.04 SPS 11 from Solaris/Oracle to Linux/Oracle.

I am a little puzzled with the necessary DVDs as I do not do that kind of thing everyday.

Could you please tell me which DVDs are necessary on the source system to launch the R3Load export?

Could you please tell me which DVDs are necessary on the target system to launch the ECC 6.04 install and the R3 import?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hi Benoit,

For export,  you need to download the SWPM as per the note 1680045 for your source Operating system. No other DVDs are required.

For import, you need the following DVD's.

1.SWPM for Linux version.

2.Kernel DVD's

3.Oracle DVD's

4.Oracle SBP patches.

Nothing is required other than.

Since you are migrating the system, you don't need the following DVD's... They are used only for fresh installation .

51033594_1..10SAP Enh. Package 4 for SAP ERP 6.0 1 of 10
51036902_1..6SAP ERP 6.0/NW 7.01 SR1 Inst Export 1 of 6

Thanks and Regards,

Vimal

Hello Maria,

Concerning the SPS level will I have the same SPS in the target system just after the import?

In other words, are the data in the tablespace PSAPSID701 exported by R3Load during the export?

Thanks in advance for your answers.
