cost center change is not possible in Asset Master

Hi Friends,

I have a scenario where we are unable to change the Cost center in the Asset master.

We are trying to change the cost center from 1.3.2013 to 31.12.1999 for the next interval. When I am saving it gives the error, "Fiscal year 2012 is closed" for Depreciation areas.

Can I have help on this, as what are the implication if I change the cost center without overwriting the Cost center intervals? And if I open the periods and change the cost center will there be any Financial/Depreciation impact?
