Open Sales Order in ECC from CRM

We are using several "jumps" from CRM to ECC transactions.  These were built using the transaction launcher, and have been set up with their own Work Center and such.  We have set up this work center in both our IC role and Sales Pro role, and also make the jumps directly from the Assignment Block in Account Overview page.  Everything is working fine in the Interaction Center client, and the jumps to ECC also work fine in the Sales Pro role except for one area.  However, we have found one area that does not work consistently from our Sales Professional role.  In the IC client role we search for Orders, Quotes, etc., in the Transaction History Nav Bar menu.  When we find an order and click on the hyper link, it open the VA03 window in ECC.  This works like we want it to.  But when we go to the Sales Pro role, and then Search for an Order using the Order Search screen, if we click on the link there it opens the Order in CRM, not in VA03 in ECC.  We have compared the two roles checking everything on the Nav Bar and Business Roles, but do not see where this "jump" to ECC from the Search screen is set.

We thought it was in the Generic Outbound Plug Mappings in Sales Pro role, but have set those to match the settings for IC role.

Any help in making the hyper-link fro the Sales Order Search screen open in ECC VA03, and not in CRM, would be appreciated.

Odd it works in one role but not another, this document about the transaction launcher provides alot of good insight how to debug thru to see why one role functions properly and the other role does not

The ECC transactions work fine when we call them from a "jump menu" we have created, and when we open an Order or Quote from the Assignment Block under the Account Details page, but when we open them from the Sales Orders or Quotations Search screen results, they do not jump to ECC.

This document referred to covers setting up the transactions via Transaction Launcher, and we have done that (VA03 and VA23), and they work fine in all cases except when open the transaction from the search screens.  We have set them up to be called as logical links in the Generic Outbound Plug Mappings too.  What is puzzling is they work everywhere in IC client, including from the Transaction History search results, and work everywhere in the Sales Professional client EXCEPT from the new Sales Orders and Quotations search results screens.

Any other tips or advice?

Hi Bryan,

From the above description i understood the transaction launcher is working fine when u call from a work center in both IC and SalesPro Role but from the transaction history you could not call the transaction Launcher.

I think from the IC Role they have implemented a Dynamic Navigation to call the Transaction Launcher

where as it is missed in SalesPro Role.

You can implement dynamic navigation in SalesPro Role to call the transaction Launcher .

Sorry, we have not implemented Dynamic Navigation, and are not running these on the Portal.
