BEx authorization

I need to pass to query a list of values ​​of a characteristic in the Customer Exit based on the value contained in a variable authorization which should not affect the result of the query. I thought about putting a KPI restricted on the columns with the variable authorization to read later in the customer exit but when I run the query tells me that I do not have permission on the authorization. If you move the variable on the row it's OK but does not go well for what I do. How can I do? Alternatively, I could read this value from the authorization table in which it is written? In which table are recorded values ​​associated with the authorization profile?
