masthead - logoffConfirmMsg and Access Denied

Hello All

I have problem with user's log off function in portal. For some users, instead of question "Do you want to log off" popup shows saying:

For users with wide or full proviledges works ok.

Is something wrong with configuration, or some specific role is required to make this work correctly?

Thanks in advance

Best Regards

Maciej Gottfried

    Hi Maciej,

try this, look for the logoffConfirmMsg iView, mine is in gpar:/com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead/logoffConfirmMsg

open it and verify that the AuthScheme property is set to anonymous.

    Hope it helps

    Regards

    Diego

    Hello Maciej,

Go to System Administration -> Permissions, find Security Zones and there set that your component is corresponding to no_security zone.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Maciej,

I think the problem you are facing (DSM is not being called during Logoff, and therefore sessions

in the backend remain alive) is already documented in SAP Note #1647534

    - DSM Terminator Portal Runtime Error (attached).

you need to upgrade your portal to the version specified in the Note in order to get the fix.

    Regards

    Shrikant

I have the exact same issue. Did you ever solve this problem?

    Kind regards,
