Dear SAP folks,
I believe our system is using SAP GL (New GL) because at each FI document, when display with FB03, "GL view" is available. In addition, table FAGLFLEXT and FAGLFLEXA are populated. From the IMG, GL (New) was available, as well as SM30 V_FAGL_ACTIVEC, the check box is ticked.
However, I still see table GLT0 and GLPCA being populated - my understanding is that New GL and Classic GL is an "either or" scenario, and therefore should not be existing at the same time. I am now confused... are we using new GL or not? If so, does this mean that we are missing some configurations that making the classic GL tables being populated?
Thank you so much for your help in advance!
Hi:
For GLT0 review:
SPRO > Financial Accounting (New) > Financial Accounting Global Settings (New) > Tools > Deactivate Update of Classic General Ledger (GLT0) (If It is still active)
For GLPCA review:
SPRO > Controlling > General Controlling > Organization > Maintain Controlling Area > Maintain Controlling Area > Activate components/control indicators (If Profit Center Acctg is active)
Regards,
GIELARMI
