Please advice if there exist Business Contents for SEM 4.0 ?

I`m looking for Business Contents Objects like the following :-

Data Basis

Consolidation Areas

Chart of Accounts

Tasks

Method

Method Layouts

There is a business content for SEM-BCS.

I can send you "How to configure the Consolidation Business scenario".

I implemented <b>SAP Note 736226</b>, I get short dump ABAP runtime error TSV_TNEW_PAGE_ALLOC_FAILED

Any quick fix you know off, mate ?

What I need to understand is <b>which Info Providers</b> can I link to in the Data Basis to get the basic Consolidation Monitor up and running ?

Total Records -> ?

Documents -> ?

Inventory Data -> ?

Supplier Data -> ?

Investment Data -> ?

Rite now, my objective is just to get to the Consolidation Monitor.

Hi John,

I've sent you the doc.

About your dump - you need to investigate it further, better with basis guys.

There are too many OSS notes regarding your problem.

Some of them clearly points out to memory problem. For example, #369726. Another ones are related to bugs: #122920. So, additional information is needed.

I've sent you Benchmarking guide doc too. It might help you to understand how to customize your system.

Go through these docs and if something is not clear post a message.

Hi Eugene,

Have managed to execute program UC_CONTENT_ACTIVATE 'SEM-BCS-MDF-400'

However, I don`t seem to see any delivered Data Basis, Consolidation Area ?

Is there anything I need to activate in SEM apart from running the program ?

I quess you went through the rest of the note and the docs I sent you. And know you try to repeat BC installation?

One more note concerning the proper data basis configuration:

Hi Eugene,

we are doing consolidation in the fresh instance of BW 3.5, Iam completely new to BW based consolidation model. as u have already gone through such situation can u pls guide me how to proceed. I have following questions.

1) Business content activation: as per the note it is mentioned that we can run the programe UC_CONTENT_ACTIVATE to activate content in the BW system.

so will this program install and activate all the objects related to consolidation in BW or I need to do the manual installation of objects.

2)the note specifies that i need to create the RFC destination of type 3 with description SEM-BCS_BW. I don't have any seperate instance for bw means consolidation is happening in same system i.e new instance of BW 3.5

3) basic question business content activation procedure means is it ok to only run the program UC_CONTENT_ACTIVATE or i need to do some manual installation in BW prior to run this program.

4) can u send the list of bw objects needed to install specifically for consolidation.

Pls respond asap...

Hi,

Iam doing the SEM-BCS implementation for the first time.

i have understood the procedure of getting the desired data from r/3 for consolidation.

now we are in blue print phase.

Iam using all the standard reports available for BCS.

can you please send the blue print document for bw based consolidation, i need to know how to present the report formats .. means all standard one but how to present them in the blueprint document .. pls send me asap.. I am in the last moment of blue print stage.. i really appreciate ur help.

If u have any blueprint documents please share them. We urgently need ur help to complete this implementation.

Some basic questions like....settings to be done at ECC level....like Group COA, trading partner etc., will be helpful. How to activate the standard business content required for BCS. How to extract data from R/3 to BCS cube.
