Hello All,
One basic query in BOM changing using a change number..
IS there any function, by which we can assign different effectivity dates for different items with a same change number in the same BOM..
For example, I have a BOM - A, with items A1,A2, A3... (all quantity 1)
I have change master C1
Now when I change the BOM with C1
The quantity of A1 should change to 2 with effect from 1-April-2013, but for A2 the quantity should change from 15-April-2013 to quantity 2?
Regards,
Aby Thomas

I believe it's not possible in standard SAP, you'd have to create two change numbers.

Hi Jeevan,
Thanks for the reply..
Let me explain the business case..
We have a change implementation process.. So during initial implementation both the changes for A1 and A2 are implemented with effect from 1-April-2013.
Due to some reasons, the change of A2 alone need to be shifted. I created another change number C2,and my only requirement is to change the Date of A2 to 15-April with C2..
I checked but the system is not accepting the changes with C2, since there is no structural or item changes ..
How can we meet this requirement with two change numbers?.. C1 and C2
BOM A (initial implementation)
A1- 01-April-2013 - C1
A2 -01-April-2013 - C1
BOM A (Final implementation)
A1- 01-April-2013 - C1
A2 -15-April-2013 - C2

Aby
