Hi All,

I am trying to develop Custom Fiori app from the scratch using SAP Web IDE and deploy the same on Launchpad.

From the Launchpad, I am able to click on the app tile and open the app.

But data is not displaying.

If the test the application from the gateway server, the same app works fine and it comes along with the data.

So, for displaying the data on Launchpad, what should i do???

Why no odata s are called if i run the app from the launchpad???

Please help me. It's quite urgent.

What error message(s) do you see in the browser console when you open your app from the launchpad tile? Do you see any failed service calls on the Network tab?

No Saurabh Vakil, I don't see any errors.

No services are called.

Please find the screenshot.

Check below points

1. Check data is coming into UI5 application or not

2. Check the binding.

Install UI5 Inspector

Hello Lalitha,

Where do you develop the application, in the cloud on HCP or locally?

How did you set up the destination to your backend system?

Where is your Fiori Launchpad running, on the gateway server or on another system?

From your screenshot it looks like you're deploying your app to a Fiori Launchpad running on an ABAP system. There, you have to set-up your destination to match the path of the ABAP system (/sap/opu/odata -> see also this docu:

https://help.hana.ondemand.com/webide/frameset.htm?5c3debce758a470e8342161457fd6f70.html)

There should be an error in your network trace indicating this. Other problems could be authentication or network restrictions.

Regards, Annette

In your app's manifest.json file make sure there is no /destinations/<DEST_NAME> prefix to the OData service uri defined (in Web IDE it works only with this prefix, but for deploying to the on-premise gateway the uri should be without the destination prefix as /sap/opu/odata/sap/<SERVICE_NAME>).
